Gemma by Maharam - Chamber
This is Gemma, a felted, wool-blend upholstery fabric designed by Sander Lak and produced by Maharam, in the color Chamber. It’s a gorgeous, medium blue color (Michigan blue!). The fabric is heavyweight and there’s no lining, which means this one is a great fabric for upcycling into a cloak or cape (among other things).
The fiber content is 85% wool, 15% nylon and it’s incredibly durable (100,000 Martindale). The nylon makes this material very soft, so this is a great choice if you love wool but find it to have a little too much texture.
56” wide
85% wool, 15% nylon
100,000 cycles Martindale
24 oz/ly (700gr/lm)
Sold by the yard.
